• Jun 11, 2016  I read a big discussion somehere (here?) that SD (Secure Digital) was embraced by content companies because the specifications for the format allowed for read only options as well as special CPU provisions to specifically guard against this. I actually looked for an online torrent to download into a blank card first before buying.
• When Sync 3 is fully loaded, insert the USB stick; Wait until an “installation complete” message appears (it may take approximately 1 minute). This should now have produced a new log file; Return to your PC and complete your update by uploading the log file onto the Ford website.
• Jan 23, 2013  How to install SD card for navigation sync system in 2013 Ford Edge? I recieved an SD navigation update card for my 2013 Ford Edge, but I have no idea how to install it. I got on Fords website and could not find any instructions on how to do it. Any help would be appreciated.
• Dec 07, 2016  The following guide is the steps that I took to get this working on my 2012 Ford Focus. I'm not aware of any car model-specific issues, but that doesn't mean that there aren't any. Insert your navigation SD card into your car's SD card slot, and you should be good to go. GUIDE Enable navigation on cars with Sync Gen 2 and MyFord Touch.
