Crashes all the time 1/5
Developers, please fix! The app crashes all the time and doesn’t work.Does this app do anything? 1/5
This app does not seem to do anything at all except connect to my truck. It seems all the Toyota app are horrible.😞 2/5
How is it that a 2020 corolla doesn’t give the option to start the car from the app? Literally the same features as any regular car older than this.Great product 5/5
I have had quite a few different cars all Chevrolet, after hurricane Michael and all my chevys just didn’t last I decided to try Toyota after extensive research went with a 2019 Camry, everything about it is great including Entune, I don’t even have to look at my phone this does everything for me including text. This app is a fantastic and safe feature. Kudos to ToyotaNo Good 1/5
Alexa App never works RAV4 2019Irritating Update Options 1/5
I have already update Entune 100 times on my 2018 Camry, and still every time I turn on my car the pop up shows up to update the app again. Please fix this irritating bug.Useless 1/5
I don’t understand the purpose of entune. I don’t use any of the limited apps it offers and for reasons that remain unclear it continuously wants to be updated. Thankfully apple carplay was recently added to my car. That at least makes useful apps available and does messaging. The toyota w alexa app, also now added is far less functional or useful. What’s the point of it? 1/5
No idea why I need this in the first place just to pair my phone when I can pair my phone to an after market radio with no added crap. Also always asks my phone if the app can run. So I have to pick up my phone hit allow bedore driving which seems dumb. Or while driving (bigger safety issue) they have good cars but terrible apps and technologyA Waste Just Go to Your Dealer and Upgrade to CarPlay for Free! 1/5
Overall everyone is right. This app is straight up annoying. It makes you allow or deny connection every time you get in the car which is a waste and safety hazard. Toyota knows their customers aren’t satisfied and and if you have a 2018 Camry or Sienna you can upgrade for FREE at your dealership and save yourself the trouble of dealing with this terrible app!El tiempo 3/5
Con esta última actualización la aplicación del tiempo no funciona por favor corregirCan’t register my VIN number 1/5
I can’t even see how bad this app appears to be because it doesn’t recognize my VIN to register. Toyota has no clue how bad this is. My Harley Davidson infotainment system is bad but this is totally unusable.Awful. Just awful. 1/5
Following an update to Entune I am on day 5 of no connection. This is even after reading the manual and watching video. I showed app to 2 other people and called customer service. Customer service said it’s an oddball problem but didn’t have a solution. I despise being tied to a terrible app and am stuck with no sound, no Bluetooth, no phone, no radio. I’m furious.Another Completely Worthless App by Toyota 1/5
Another Completely Worthless App by Toyota ! I just purchased a new 2019 Highlander. I’m supposed to feel over joyed with excitement. I should be able to download the latest phone apps for my 2019 Highlander. Instead, I feel I got ripped off. It will be a while before I buy another Toyota.Prius prime 2020 entune app quite a disappointment 1/5
I have to have it running on my phone in order to use many of the features of the car. If my phone dies I cannot eve use the gps. It. Requires a phone connection to get WiFi. Why? What am I paying for. Constantly promptin me to up grade software. How do I do that? Not working 1/5
This app isn’t even opening. Therefore, I cannot even connect to anything in my car if it has to be through this app. FIX IT PLEASE.HUGE safety issue 1/5
With the daylight savings time change in NC, I am driving home in the dark. This stupid software keep trying to update itself, failed and flashed up a bright white banner on my touch screen over and over for 45 mins during my drive home from work. It would pop up with a message that it had failed and to try again later but when selecting the “ok” to get it to go away, it would disappear for less than a minute and brightly pop back up on the screen in my very dark car. I was in 4 lanes of traffic all running 65-90 miles an hour. It was a HUGE distraction. This issue needs to take priority in getting fixed!Kills CarPlay 1/5
When I first got my 2020 Corolla, CarPlay worked great. Just plugged in my phone to the USB port and my iPhone apps were available on the dashboard touch screen. I updated the Entune 3.0 app, now it’s as if CarPlay doesn’t exist in my car. Trying to access the phones display, or pressing the “MAP” button on the dash just gives a message that you must have Entune open and logged in. Which I tried to do, but doesn’t work. I tried turning the car off and back on, rebooting my phone, messing with any settings in my phone and car, but I can not get CarPlay to work anymore. I know it’s a first world problem but I feel like I stepped back in time. So disappointed.Doesn’t work 1/5
A car requiring an app to pair up is so ridiculous. There was no option to “add new device” (it was blacked out) and I was never able to get my phone paired despite having Bluetooth and charging my phone using the USB port in the car. Total garbage.Entine is sheer crap 1/5
After owning my corolla hatchback for only 8 months, I started getting a message that the car was unable to verify my Toyota Account. No changes to my account had taken place whatsoever. This happened with no apparent reason. I’ve called Toyota Entune at least six times. Their saccharin- tasting customer support people have no clue what to do. All they have done is ask me to uninstall the app and reinstall it, which does not solve the problem. The dealership doesn’t know what to do either. They send me back to Entune. My car is only 8 months old, for heaven’s sake!! Toyota also has the worst navigation ever of any car I’ve owned. Toyota’s are Sooo overacted. As soon as I’m able to trade it off, I’ll be done with Toyota. I’m never buying one of their cars again. They are crooks draining money out of us with their useless, pathetic apps and Remote Connect services that other car manufacturers don’t trick people into having to buy. What a huge fiasco and deception they put us through. Shame on you, Toyota!!Can not figure out the point 2/5
Not sure what the app does exactly. I had it installed. Then deleted. No change in functionality of my 2020 Tacoma. System seems to work well without the app. Seems Toyota is moving away from Entune.iphone 11 3/5
I cant get the live map to work with my Iphone 11. when will the app be fixed? No more apps after latest upgrade 1/5
Can no longer connect to NPR One, despite the iOS app showing that I’m logged in, in my vehicle. Seems to be an issue with the latest update. What the #*%*# is that 1/5
How come a company like toyota use such a stupid product like this ????!!!2018 Camry owner disappointed!!!!! 1/5
Toyota you really dropped the ball with the Entune system for the 2018 Camry! To say that it is a fail or a disappointment is a huge understatement! So many things I love about the Camry but not this at all! Get your act together Toyota on this aspect of the vehicle. Please!Horrible update 1/5
This app used to work great. I had the occasional glitch where I would have to set it up myself but that was a rare occurrence. The newest update ruined the app and made it so my car (Camry 2018) doesn’t even pair with the app anymore. Horrible. Definitely a disappointment considering I can’t use my Navigation or Bluetooth capability anymore while driving.Toyota Entune 1/5
Worst idea Toyota has ever had. I agree with another review I just read. The app is always going off or leaving me unable to connect to any music other than am or fm. Me and family have been driving Toyota’s since 1996 and this is a HUGE disappointment! Wish I had had the foresight to insist on a CD player.Hawaii 1/5
So in Hawaii we purchase a new car and pay for these features then find out after the purchase we are cut off from using it because of our geographic location.Always issues 1/5
App constantly gives me an error message that it can’t log into my account. I’ve called Toyota Entune support and they had me uninstall the app and reinstall. Fixed it for a day. Tried the same fix and it helped for a day. Pretty frustrating and just shocking that a car maker as good as Toyota would have such a terrible app.App is useless. 1/5
Company the size of Toyota should have a better app/technology than this.Almost makes me wish I’d gotten a different car 1/5
I got a new rav4 adventure. Everything is great except the entire navigation, voice command, app system. It’s so bad I can’t even describe it. You can’t get apps that aren’t already on there it seems? And besides that it’s just worthless. Literally I don’t see the point. Worst feature in the history of featuresToyota Chr 2019 1/5
Didn't know about the app download until after purchasing the car, stereo system overall is crap, apps are like 3 and at times I do get the 'can't connect' notifications. It does connect fine w my iPhone XR music and the Scout app works. Needs more apps it's very boring. The WORST 1/5
Its difficult to imagine such a large manufacturer is peddling this garbage. Its prob top 20 worst apps I have ever had. Can’t recall the password more than 1/2 the time. Resetting Pword is hassle. Barely works. Its not worth it. GARBAGE!Premium premium 1/5
gjgj, only premium user can change temperature unit in Entune 3.0. GJ. I’d like to recommend all you guys take a look into the user manual. It’s pretty interesting.I thought Japan was better at technology than this 1/5
The Toyota Entune App Suite is barely functional. It is inconsistent in performing tasks linked to my iPhone. Sometimes, I can send and receive messages just fine, but a few minutes later, I might hear a verbal warning about the need to unlock my phone or being unable to complete a requested task. Once the phone is paired with this app, all communications between them should be flawless, but they’re not. Every time I restart the engine, I have to take my phone out and Allow it to communicate with the vehicle using Entune. Why can’t the app remember previous connections and automatically reconnect every time? The phone automatically reconnects to the head unit every time. Apparently, similar views are held by a lot of Toyota owners, judging from the low ratings average. Get with it, Toyota, and show that you’re the leader in technological innovations as you claim to be.App always asks for update 1/5
Why does the Entune on my brand new RAV keep asking for an update? Entune is so frustrating. Not sure why Toyota wastes money on this app 1/5
The plug and play function of Apple CarPlay is VASTLY superior to this system of registering, taking images of a VIN, messing with Bluetooth, pairing, and then finally having a complex series of controls to operate an app suite. To the designers of this app- just make it plug and play. It is such a pain to register every rental car for 10 minutes (because pairing it always seems to take that long) and then connect every time I get in the car. Honestly, I wouldn’t buy a Toyota if it didn’t come with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.Does not work with my 2019 Tacoma 1/5
Does not work with my 2019 Tacoma. No sign of an update to Apple CarPlayYES, use the Bluetooth!! 1/5
Every single time I get in the car this app asks if it should have permission to use Bluetooth... even if this is an iOS annoyance Toyota should invest in the necessary update and code needed to remember that I granted permission! Who’s running the show out there? I had Entune 2.0 before thinking my new car with Entune 3.0 would be better and here I am now wondering how could they possibly manage to screw up so badly!I hate this app 1/5
Horrible, says it needs an update every time I start the car, 2018 Camry. Just left the dealership and their solution was to try to sell me the Apple play update for 100 dollars.I don’t get it. 1/5
Worthless app. I know it connects several apps. But the app itself of annoying and pointless. Always asking permission to connect. Could be a lot better and more in the background. If it’s even necessary.Yikes 1/5
Yikes, how can Toyota make such an incredible vehicle and then pair it with such a crap product. Smh, Unreal.I cannot connect to alexa 1/5
What is wrong with this system and app? This car was way to freaking expense to not have all the most modern bells and whistles. I keep seeing repeatedly in these reviews 2018 camry. How do I connect with Alexa?WOW! It is an absolute CRAP! 1/5
Toyota please just somehow get rid of this useless Entune system. How is this even possible? 1/5
Everything about my 2020 Corolla is awesome, except Toyota Entune. This app is overly complex to set up and utterly useless and underwhelming. The worst part of it all? If you own a Toyota you are forced to use it or nothing at all. Big screen display with no navigation. What the heck?!Fix this!! Make this right!!!Entune Message Pops Up Everything car starts 1/5
Every time I get in the car I have to push allow for entune to connect with my 2019 Rav4. It’s annoying. I have an iPhone 10 and AT&T provider. I hope they fix this bug.Can I give a -5? 1/5
Whatever you have read in other reviews does not even approach how bad ALL of Toyota’s apps are, especially entune. 2020 Tundra, entunes won’t connect at all, support hung up on me. I would rate it a -5 (deserves -5K) if I could. DON’T INSTALL THIS CRAP!It’s nice to have but quite glitchy 3/5
It’s nice to have but quite glitchyEntune? Out if touch. 1/5
I don’t understand what this app does anymore. It updated my 2015 prius and the system apps now don’t work. What is the point of it now.Too much for too little 2/5
Okay with a 1.4 score, I am going to guess that no one from either Toyota or the app developer reads these reviews otherwise someone would have done something about it. My question: Is it really necessary that the “splash” screen comes on each and every time you start the car blocking out everything else until you allow or cancel ? On top of that it won’t work until you tend to it- kind of dangerous. If you allow it then it continues to block everything else ( even things you may be working on) until you double click and swipe up or select the former screen your working on. Totally annoying - totally unnecessary. Then, almost as annoying, is that once it deploys it does nothing - there is no interface or icon. It just sits there blocking everything else. Only accessible from the vehicle. Too much for too little. How about having it deploy (automatically) in the background and maybe once a month ask for permission so it’s seamless.
