In separate posts on social media, several marketing professionals from various Toyota dealers around Metro Manila have leaked all the prices, all the variants, and even all the colors of the yet-to-be-launched Toyota Rush.
Based on the posts from an agent from Toyota Commonwealth and Toyota Shaw, there will be three variants of the Rush crossover. All versions will be powered by a 1.5-liter VVT-i gasoline engine and will be rear-wheel drive just like the Avanza. Interestingly enough, not all will be 7 seaters.
The Toyota Rush 1.5E will have two versions; one with an automatic transmission (presumably a 4-speed) and the other with a manual gearbox (presumably 5-speed). Both versions of the 1.5E will be 5-seaters, with the 1.5E A/T 5-seater costing PhP 988,000 while the 1.5E M/T 5-seater costing PhP 948,000 as per the prices leaked by the marketing professionals.
The third and final variant will be the Toyota Rush 1.5G, and it will only be available with the automatic and will be a 7-seater. The Rush 1.5G AT 7-seater will cost PhP 1,070,000.
There was no indication if Toyota will be offering the TRD Sportivo version (above)
Based on the posts, the Rush will come in six colors: Bordeaux Mica Metallic, Bronze Mica Metallic, Red Mica Metallic, Black Mica Metallic, Silver Mica Metallic, and White Mica Metallic. The sales agents said that their dealers are already accepting reservations.
Toyota has made no official announcement yet on pricing for the Rush, so these could change if Toyota sees fit; but based on our conversation with Toyota executives, the pricing is expected to be competitive, and at around the PhP 1 million mark.
